When clearing my workshop in preparation for doing some woodwork, I found this little exercise in kitbashing. It's another model from the Ratio/Wills stable which I modified by adding a working lamp and a pile of real coal. I'm not sure if the lamp is prototypical, but it looks good in the dark...

Would it not also require one on the stage itself so that poor b*gg*r doing the shoveling can see what he's doing. :)

I doubt it, the menial classes were/are usually kept in the dark. :D
