As promised some of Potterbourne in action at the March exhibition.

The layout being closely inspected

The cambrian crane caused much comment and praise, as did the running of the layout.

At times it was difficult to see the layout............................

And best of all Josh won Best Layout at Show as chosen by the host club. Well done Josh

As Westerner's camera has revealed, I was there but left before the announcement of best in show.

IMHO that award was well deserved. There are not many layouts that will hold my attention for a full hour but this is one of them. It has that rare quality where every time you look at it you see another nice touch - a gate propped open with an oil drum and a fire bucket that fell off its hook are just two that come to mind. Unlike some others on show, there were very few gremlins.

Many congrats, Josh and helpers. I hope this award is the first of many!

For those interested Potterbourne has been invited by the Warley club to the NEC this year.

Well done Josh.

Hi,

That's a fine achievement (and sets the bar for Josh's modelling in years to come).

:D :D :D

Cheers,
